Military

Hainsworths have a long history of supplying woollen fabrics for Parade wear and uniforms into the military. In 1975 we were the first company to introduce Nomex® into the UK MOD. In these early days it was Nomex® T457 and only available in Olive Drab. As Nomex® developed, Kevlar® was added to the blend to produce Nomex® III and Nomex® Comfort.

Fabrics for the military are manufactured to bespoke requirements for the end users.
