Hainsworths Protective Fabrics have worked to produce the following performance based solutions that comply with BS7971-10:2004, the new British Standard for public order coveralls. The solution selected will reflect the findings of the Forces individual risk assessment:

TYPE 1 COVERALLS:

Ref: 1250 Nomex® with TI-technology™- 270gsm. Designed to be worn as a single layer garment thereby optimising breathability and comfort where the risk assessment finds that minimising the effects of heat stress on the wearer is paramount.

TYPE 2 COVERALLS:

Ref: 1241 Nomex® with TI-technology™- 170 gsm. Designed to be worn in conjunction with a drop liner where the risk assessment finds that protection against penetration by liquid chemicals is paramount.
